Holmby Hills Real Estate

The quietest corner of the Platinum Triangle.

The story of Holmby Hills

Laid out in 1919 by Arthur Letts Jr. and named for Holdenby, the English village where his father was born, Holmby Hills was designed as the crown of the Westside — enormous flat parcels, mature landscaping, and no through traffic. It sits between Beverly Hills and Bel-Air to complete the Platinum Triangle, and it holds some of the most storied estates in America, including the Playboy Mansion, the Manor, and the Owlwood estate. Holmby Park, the Los Angeles Country Club, and Harvard-Westlake anchor daily life, and turnover is rare enough that a single sale can reset the top of the Los Angeles market.
